Aiken's Umoja Village Unveils 2025 Black Excellence Calendar

An Aiken nonprofit continues to recognize Black men and women making a positive contribution to the city, Aiken County or the surrounding area. 

Umoja Village recently began selling its 2025 "Umoja Village Celebrates Black Excellence" wall calendar.

The 2025 calendar is the group's third, and will highlight the unsung heroes of the Aiken community, according to a news release. 

"These individuals give so much of themselves to lift up others and support various causes, organizations and initiatives oftentimes behind the scenes and sometimes without public recognition," said CEO/co-founder Donna Wesby. "They are more concerned about getting the job done versus who gets the credit."
