1. Umoja Village's own Community Engagement Adviser and Admin. Assistant Mr. Jahleel Johnson is this month's speaker at tomorrow's (5/16) Aiken County Democratic Party meeting, 7 p.m., O'Dell Weeks Center Community Room in Aiken. Public is invited.
2. At this past Monday's Aiken County Election Commission meeting, 25-year Voter & Elections Department Executive Director Ms. Cynthia Holland announced her retirement, effective May 23rd. We are so grateful for her years of faithful service.
3. If you are planning to ride the charter bus to Umoja Village's Founders Day and Juneteenth Celebration on Wednesday, June 19th at Eudora Farms Safari in Salley, SC, please register and remit the $25pp as soon as possible.
