Aiken's Umoja Village Provides Grants to 10 Community Organizations

Some local organizations have received a helping hand from Aiken's Umoja Village. 

Umoja Village recently awarded a total of $30,000 to 10 community organizations.  Umoja Village — Umoja means unity in Swahili — is a nonprofit alliance of "Blacks and African Americans united with a common goal: To unify underserved populations and the entire community to bring about positive and sustainable change."
