UMOJA VILLAGE UPDATE, because YOU are UMOJA!

February 26, 2023

1. Time is now to ensure you are registered to vote or that your registration is good by going to scvotes.gov or the Aiken County government building. Two of our own are running in special elections: Mrs. Deborah Tyler (District 1 Aiken County Board of Education, April 11th) and Mr. Richard Adams (North Augusta City Council, April 27th, ra4na.com).

2. Please consider donating at least $25.00 to Umoja Village, and you will receive the inaugural "Umoja Village Celebrates Black Excellence 2023 calendar." You will be listed as a contributor on the website, umojavillage.com.

3. I'm not always able to text all events sent directly to me. More people are utilizing the Umoja Village Community Calendar where all the info is listed, including flyers. Please check it daily, because all info is there, including flyers:  https://www.umojavillage.com/community-calendar
