UMOJA VILLAGE UPDATE, because YOU are UMOJA!
December 15, 2024
1. Urgent! Don't forget to file your Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR) by 12/31/2024. This is critical to ensure you avoid receiving daily fines for your company. You will not be able to claim "Ignorance of the law" to avoid penalties. To learn more about BOIRs and if your business is a "reporting company," click https://www.fincen.gov/boi-faqs#C_1
Companies required to report are called "reporting companies." Domestic reporting companies are corporations, limited liability companies, and any other entities created by the filing of a document with a secretary of state or any similar office in the United States.
2. If you or someone you know needs affordable rental housing in South Carolina, here is the link to SC Housing Search, https://www.schousingsearch.com, or if you are a property manager, you can list your property there.
