UMOJA VILLAGE UPDATE, because YOU are UMOJA!
December 30, 2022
By the grace of God, in 2022 alone, Umoja Village processed nearly 400 calls, texts, Facebook messages, emails, and face-to-face visits of requests that connected our people to services needed from housing, to education, to small business resources, to employment, to employees, to attorneys, to spiritual and personal development, to banking/finance resources, and to also include hiring four of our own, funding grant requests of nearly $35,000 to our own organizations to keep youth off the streets, and more. Please support our 2023 calendar project, the Feb. 5th Black History program, and our Oct. 23rd golf tournament. For details on these efforts, visit umojavillage.com HAPPY KWANZAA! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
