UMOJA VILLAGE UPDATE, because YOU are Umoja Village!

May 20, 2022

1. Umoja Village was recently awarded two grants from the Charities Aid Foundation of America as recommended by Allstate in the combined amount of $485.14.

2. Parents, don't pull out your hair when help is available. Please attend the "Before I Pull My Hair Out Parenting Conference," Saturday, May 28th, 9A-12P, at the BEC Plex, 5955 Jefferson Davis Hwy., North Augusta.  Invest $30 now so you hopefully don't have to spend thousands later because your child got into trouble.  Call Dominique Simpkins to register, 706-691-7303, or go to Eventbrite.

3. Beginning Tuesday, May 24th, the Umoja Village Resource Center will be open to the community Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12-4 p.m., and Mondays and Fridays by appointment only. The center is located at 827 Hayne Avenue, SW in Aiken 803-226-0150.

4. Check out the Umoja Village Community Calendar.  There are lots of events that matter to you and your family.  Go to www.umojavillage.com. Also, upload your meetings or events free of charge.
