Unity Weekend and the 15th Annual Shoutfest
It is with great excitement that we announce Umoja Village will continue the magnificent blessing of Shoutfest on Saturday, Oct. 21st, 11AM-5PM, Beverly D. Clyburn Generations Park, 700 Mack Henry Holland Drive, Aiken, SC, and hereafter. Shoutfest is the largest, free outdoor Gospel festival in the Central Savannah River Area previously presented by WAAW Shout 94.7 FM radio. Shoutfest features all-day performances from Gospel recording artists; food, merchandise, service, and informational vendors; and a terrific Kidszone.
Shoutfest was previously presented by WAAW Shout 94.7 FM radio for the past 14 years. Due to its owner selling the station and undergoing a format change, former WAAW General Manager Donna Moore Wesby, who organized Shoutfest, has now taken on this event under the Umoja Village umbrella, where she serves as our CEO/Cofounder. Since Ms. Wesby has organized Shoutfest for the past five years, the quality of Shoutfest will not waiver. Actually, it has the potential to grow even larger.
