1. AIKEN MAYOR RACE: Any registered voter who lives in the Aiken city limits can vote in the Aiken Mayor Republican primary and general election races no matter your political party affiliation.  Early voting is now open at the Aiken County building on Jefferson Davis Highway. 2. FREE TABLETS/INTERNET: If you or someone you live with currently receives a government benefit like SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, WIC, Pell Grant, or Free and Reduced-Price Lunch, or your income is 200% below the Federal Poverty Line, you may qualify to receive a free tablet and internet services through The U.S. government's Affordable Connectivity Program.  Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household. 3. UMOJA VILLAGE SUNDAY AT GFF: July's Umoja Village 4th Sunday at Greater Faith Fellowship raised $1,300 in donations.  Thanks to all who donated and to the GFF leadership for their consistent support.

5. Congratulations to the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce who hosted the quarterly business networking event on Thursday in Aiken.  Umoja Village and the Aiken County NAACP cosponsored.  UV paid the registration for 20 attendees. UMOJA=UNITY
